ABOUT

Started in 2009, ASVP is a Brooklyn-based art duo that has become internationally known for creating graphic images with nods to advertising, pop and comic book culture often juxtaposed with layers of organic abstraction.

TESTIMONIALS

“These guys were great to collab with. The piece ASVP made for our latest Ink Master spot wound up becoming the centerpiece for the entire campaign rollout. They throttled the project, I would work with them again in a second.”
Dave Navarro
Spike TV, Ink Masters Host
Lead Guitarist, Jane’s Addiction

“My work with ASVP began after noticing their posters while walking the streets of Williamsburg. My initial invitation to create something for our Artist T-Shirt Series quickly evolved into a larger ASVP story. Ultimately the collaboration included; t-shirts, knit tops, sweaters and a trench coat lined with the very street images that originally drew me to their beautiful work.”
agnés b.,
Fashion Designer / Artist

“Our rooftop project at 875 Washington Street, in the heart of the Meatpacking District, had a very visible plain metal bulkhead that ASVP painted turning it into a unique feature of the roof top space. They offered us several options to choose from and worked with us every step of the way to obtain approval form the NYC Landmark’s Commission and ownership. It was a pleasure to work
with this team.”

Darren Schumer
Senior Vice President Construction Services,
Sierra Development Associates

“In total, ASVP did 25 large-scale pieces, 24, “music venue themed” conference rooms and a big 22’ X 22’ hero piece. We had a bunch of 27-hour days for the big piece, because they are obsessive. They had the whole second half of it up, then decided to change the color palette. They went back and re-did the whole thing, and they killed it.”
Redboy
Curator, Spotify, Inc.

“ASVP’s research on each of the music venues was phenomenal. It was a unique
challenge for them, and they rose to it.”

Merv Garretson
Former Design Director, Spotify, Inc.

“On a recommendation from our colleagues at Viacom, we selected
ASVP as one of the artists for VH1 Save The Music’s 20th Anniversary Art + Guitars project with the Gibson Foundation, and paired them with Rick Nielsen, the legendary guitarist for Cheap Trick. Among the 25 visual artists we worked with on the project, ASVP stood out for their high degree of collaboration with Rick, the incredible quality of the design and their attention to detail. We, Gibson and Rick were all blown away by the end result—a one of a kind Les Paul that Rick was excited to play on stage and we expect will fetch a handsome hammer price at auction this fall.

Henry Donahue
Vice President & Executive Director, VH1 Save The Music

“ASVP Studio is second to none. The life and energy they brought into the private dining room of our hotel’s restaurant, Leuca, has been outstanding. Each day I find myself more and more amazing by their talent and product.”
Zelig Weiss,
Chief Executive Officer, Espresso Hospitality / Proprietor, William Vale Hotel
